    Sounds familiar? Yes! This is the same as the famous bar in the 90’s. The first independent Filipino brewery in the Philippines located in Shangri-La-spot.com. Now they are back to business! And this time, they are going to give you a mouth-watering food experience!

Penne Pasta with super tasty meatballs

Preparation:

(40 mins)

Ingredients: 

Meatballs: Minced beef, Onion, Rosemary, Mustard, Salt and Pepper, Lemon

Pasta: Pesto, Penne pasta, Basil, Cherry Tomatoes, Olive Oil, butter

How to make:

STEP 1. Boil water in a deep pan.

STEP 2. Before putting the pasta, make sure the water is boiling. Add some drops of olive oil into the water for a better pasta texture. Add a little bit of salt then wait for 8-11minutes with medium heat.

STEP 3. While waiting, place 300grams minced beef in a bowl with two table spoon of mustard paste.

STEP 4. Minced one medium sized white onion and chopped rosemary leaves into very small pieces to add to the beef. Wash your hands or wear plastic gloves to mix everything together for a better taste.

STEP 5. Add salt and pepper and sprinkle some lemon. Once its mixed well, you can now make your meatballs. Make sure it’s not too big or too small.

STEP 6. When the meatballs are ready, cut one piece of garlic in half.

STEP 7. Wait until the pasta is al dente before taking it out of the water then place it in a new bowl. Sprinkle some olive oil so they won’t stick together.

STEP 8. Using the same pan from the pasta, wait until its dry from heat before adding the butter. Sauté the garlic until it turn golden brown.

STEP 9. Put some pesto sauce atleast 3 spoon. Wait for one minute before putting the meatballs. Cover the pan for 5minutes.

STEP 10. When the meatball is ready add cherry tomatoes. Mix carefully.

STEP 11. Add the pasta. Stir it carefully then add salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Pan-cooked Salmon Steak

img_8195  I’ve been indulging myself and eat only delicious and healthy food for the past week! And I didn’t have to spend so much money on restaurants just to satisfy all my cravings.

This Salmon Steak was only worth SD10-13 spiced with rosemary, parsley and slices of lemon (and tomato) plus sweet potato on the side.

I’m satisfied on how everything turned out even if I just made this recipe. I’m giving my two thumbs up for this so far and recommend you to try it! Remember, you don’t have to be a chef to make some amazing food, just one who appreciates fine food and drinks.

Ingredients:

(You will need 30minutes of preparation.)

300g Salmon, Butter, Olive oil, Rosemary, (with or without parsley), mustard, lemon, pepper, garlic,

(I added the tomato before it’s too late to eat it)

Procedure:

img_8199STEP 1. Take the salmon and dress with mustard.

STEP 2. Chop the Rosemary leaves and rub around the salmon before you sprinkle a little bit of salt and pepper.
STEP 3. 
Slice some lemon then put it on he top of salmon.                                                                                   

(While you wait to marinate, chop the 
sweet potato into wedges including the garlic and tomato.)

STEP 4.  Heat the pan before putting the butter then add a little bit of olive oil so it won’t get too burnt. When it’s hot enough, put the garlic.

img_8200STEP 5. As soon as the garlic turned a little bit golden, you can now put the salmon then tomatoes around. (If there’s more space around it, you can also put the potatoes so it can get soft while waiting for the salmon to be ready.) Cover the pan, slow the heat then wait for 8-10minutes.

STEP 6. Take the salmon out then you can now use the same oil to sauté those sweet potato wedges. Let it absorb all those ingredients.

STEP 7. Take those sweet potatoes then place it on the side.
